Wow
10/10. Actors definitely played a huge part in the success of this movie because the premise has been done many times; Monkey's Paw etc etc.
I think the best part of the movie is how realistic the friend group was before everything went horribly wrong. The only parts of the movie where I didn't feel extreme anxiety was when either Sarah or Ian was in the shot ( besides that scene ). Every other scene post snap was so anxiety inducing because Inde does an extremely good job of portraying Nikki as an absolute psychopath that flutters between normal and monster in a snap, so its like your always waiting for classic horror stuff to come but most of the time its like a mix of Nikki being normal but some twisted stuff is happening so you can never really tell what is going on inside her head.
Bear is absolutely awesomely terrible in this movie. Such a good example of a selfish wimp who has charisma but just doesn't know how to portray it to the person that really matters to him because he's unable to face the possibility of rejection like a pussy. When I say he has charisma it's because we see him with Sarah and Ian, like he isn't like super socially awkward, just completely selfish af.
This movie rocks, and will be a defining horror movie for our generation
